Occurring over 48 hours in cities around the world, NASA Space Apps Challenge is an international hackathon that brings together a variety of people, including, but not limited to, coders, designers, scientists, builders, and every curiosity enthusiasts. The goal is for all these people to come together and collaborate in order to address challenges we face here on Earth and even space.

Last year’s hackathon had 187 events and brought together more than 25,000 people participating all around the globe from across six continents, making it the largest global hackathon in the world!

Even though it’s called ‘NASA Space Apps Challenge’, it’s not just about apps; It’s about tackling challenges using a variety of methods such as data visualization, design, hardware, robotics. Moreover, it is about curious individuals getting together and inspiring each other while learning and sharing ideas. Share your knowledge, talents and problem-solving skills with the world.

Supported by Embassy of Sweden in Pristina & U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo and in partnership with Sentry Cyber Security, Innovation Center Kosovo has organized this event again this year in its facility. This year’s theme will be ‘Earth and Space’. Our community won the People’s Choice Award in 2015 & were listed among TOP5 for the Best use of Data in 2017.
